I camped at the Copmanhurst boat ramp on the Clarence River, and this little spot turned out to be far more eventful than I expected. Horses wandered down for a swim, locals launched boats with mixed success, and a few unlucky people managed to wedge themselves into the rocks. Between the quiet mornings, glowing river light, and the chaos that seems to follow river life, this place had its own rhythm.
